The six axioms stated above are meant to be self-evident truths. That is, they are not mere postulates. Now, it may be that none of them are self-evident according to the reader. However, all of them are self-evident according to the author. A simple mathematical axiom, like if p implies homeequity loans and p is true then q is true, for example, may be self-evident according to a human of average intellect, for it involves simple, easy-to-understand concepts. On the contrary the 6 axioms involve relatively much profound, hard-to-understand concepts, thus potentially becoming non-self-evident (i.e. axiomatically incomprehensible) according to a human of average intellect.

Conjecture 1: Space[endnote6] is mere (non-spatial) feeling.

The problem of quantum non-locality -

Conjecture 2: The Superhuman Engine.

ii) Also, any change/modification in such physical/material entity would change/modify the empirical order, which, being logically not necessary, should otherwise be changeable/modifiable.[endnote11]

3. The Superhuman Engine- Such physical/material entity is nothing but some superhuman[endnote12] thoughts that represent the empirical laws and ideas, for example the law and idea of gravity in the case of the NSTP mentioned in point 1. The superhuman thoughts also exist in the form of (non-spatial) feelings.[endnote13] Thus, returning to the example of gravity, the feelings of gravity[endnote14] are produced in an orderly sequence because (superhuman) thoughts, representing the empirical laws, exist.[endnote15] Such superhuman thoughts could collectively be entitled as 'The Superhuman Engine'.

4. Superhuman vs. Non-Superhuman NSTP/s- As each superhuman thought exists over time, its mere temporal existence constitutes an NSTP (Non Spatial Thinking Process). Thus, to sum up, the mere existence of the superhuman NSTPs is responsible for the orderly existence of the non-superhuman NSTP/s[endnote16].

Conjecture 3: There is a possibility of the reality of space, the space where the phenomena like quantum non-locality do not exist in.
In other words, space may be really existing, the space where phenomena like quantum non-locality do not exist in.

1. Conjecture 1 only denies the reality of space, the space where the peculiar phenomena like quantum non-locality exist in.

2. Physical phenomena like quantum non-locality are not logically necessary. Therefore it is otherwise possible that quantum non-locality does not exist.

Points 1 and 2 imply conjecture 3.

If, in case, it happens that we find no quantum non-locality existing at some time (where it should otherwise be existing), that does not necessarily mean that we, as non-spatial entities, are associated with the space that possibly exists according to conjecture 3, because superhuman thoughts may contain order to execute no feelings representing quantum non-locality, for some time.

Also, the NSTP theory could conjecture that space, where the phenomena like quantum non-locality exist in, is real, and the sheer presence of the superhuman thoughts make the photons communicate with each other in no time. However, such conjecture would make the model of the (material) universe unnecessarily complex since there would be three entities involved (viz. superhuman thoughts, non-superhuman thoughts, and space, where the phenomena like quantum non-locality exist in) instead of just two (viz. superhuman thoughts and non-superhuman thoughts).

The NSTP Theory's Semi-Idealism and Semi-Dualism -

1. The NSTP theory is semi-idealistic in that, though, alike (pure) (ontological) idealism, it reduces space to non-spatial mind, the space where the phenomena like quantum non-locality exist in, it conjectures a possibility of the reality of space, the space where the phenomena like quantum non-locality do not exist in, whereas (pure) (ontological) idealism accepts no possibility of the reality of space.

2. The NSTP theory is semi-dualistic in that, it reduces space, where the phenomena like quantum non-locality exist in, to non-spatial mind, whereas (pure) (mind-body) dualism accepts no such reduction. Also, unlike (pure) (mind-body) dualism, the non-spatial and the spatial (that possibly exists according to conjecture 3) ontologies in the NSTP theory bear no correlation with each other, for the former involves the phenomena like quantum non-locality, whereas the latter involves no such phenomena.

The NSTP Theory's Resemblance with Berkeley's Idealism and Descartes' Dualism -

1. The NSTP theory, as an idealistic theory, resembles Berkeley's idealism as the spatial material entities, even when, at times, not experienced by non-superhuman NSTP/s, exist because superhuman NSTPs exist, representing them, the spatial material entities, as ideas.

Example #1: "Because of my outdoor industry background and years of experience doing outdoor sports, MSR (a leading manufacture of outdoor equipment), came to me to write the sales copy for their dealer workbook. At the time, they were getting ready to launch a highly-innovative new Fast & Light backpacking tent collection. And knew this was going to be especially tricky because many of the new tent designs were WAY out-of-the-box.

While I usually wouldnt start off talking about what is wrong with a movie Memoirs has some glaring problems. The main problem is that this story of geisha is very Japanese, deeply rooted in Japanese culture and tradition yet all of the leading ladies are Chinese and everyone is speaking broken English. So to wrap that up neatly, Memoirs of a Geisha is a story of Japanese women, played by Chinese actresses who are all speaking broken American English. It begs the question: what was Rob Marshall thinking? Its a little like when they had white actors playing Native Americans or Black people in American movies.

Now, if you can get past that gaffe, Memoirs is visually stunning. The sets are just breathtaking. It is filled with the most amazing settings and the most perfect flowers. I mean the blossoms on many of the trees were so perfect I just cant believe they were real. Memoirs is high on visual gratification but a little low on storytelling. While a well acted movie it was missing a little something. She manages to be fierce, calculating and vulnerable while maintaing a perfectly polite, respectful demeanor.

Ziyi Zhang Land Of The Giants quite work as Sayuri, the latest geisha phenom who lusts after a man she may never have. While her performance isnt flat it doesnt have the range of emotion this character calls for. Shes not quite angry enough when she needs to be, she doesnt have the overflow of emotion that this character needs to get through her tragic and demanding existence, when she should show restraint she seems to disconnect instead. Ziyi Zhang showed us her amazing acting talent in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon but seemed to leave those talents at home for Memoirs.

The biggest disappointment of the movie was Li Gong as Hatsumomo. While I dont think its her fault but the way Rob Marshall and writers Robin asp website hosting and Doug Wright interpreted the character from the novel, Hatsumomo comes across as vain, vindictive, insipid and whorish. Nothing could be further from the truth. Yes Hatsumomos character is vain and vindictive in the novel but there are reasons for this behavior that the movie barely touches on. They also portray her romance with a neighborhood young man as merely a fling without underscoring the isolation and loneliness of the geisha world.

The men in the movie are wholly underwhelming and dont bear mentioning. All in all Memoirs is a very good film that barely misses being a really great one. It is definitely worth viewing if for no other reason than to immerse yourself in the beautiful, sad and mysterious world of the geisha.

Interest rates have risen and fallen dramatically over the last few years. But credit cards have seen comparatively tiny reductions in their rates. The good news? home owners insurance quotes online can save heaps on your credit card bill just by being smart about using your card.

There are basically two types of cards.

The normal credit card

This leads me onto the second type of card. It's called a Charge card and although they look very similar to a credit card they are very different.

Firstly, everything you spend over the course of the month is charged in the normal way but at the end of the month you must pay the balance off in full. In this way you are getting full use of the banks money for up to 55days. Then you pay it off in full and the process starts again. Now often this type of card will have an annual fee. The most famous of the cards are the American Express and Diners.

Now before we move on you need to understand this 55 days interest free period and its relation to statement dates.

Important dates in the credit card cycle

Once you receive your card there are two vitally important dates to remember. They are so important I actually alarm them in my phone each month. The first is the statement date and the other is your direct debit or payment due date.

Statement date is simply the date your statement is issued. All transactions up to that date will be due on the next payment due date and all after will be on the following month.

Now your payment due date in the case of a 55 day card will normally be 24 days after the statement date. 31days in the month plus 24 days till payment. A 45 day interest free card will be 31 days plus 14 days.

OK -- so why do I have a charge card. It comes down to factoring.

The concept of factoring

Factoring is most often used in business to create immediate cashflow. A business will invoice a client but not receive the payment for say 30 days. So the business will go to a factoring company who will pay the invoice immediately minus around 7-9% commission. So basically for this fee you get to use the factoring company's money for the 30 days.

Now with a credit card you spend the money but don't pay for it until the payment due date. So effectively you get to use the finance company's money for however many days that is. It keeps the cash in your account but doesn't cost you anything to do so.

Now the only thing left to consider is the annual fee on the charge card, because they can be hefty. I have the Amex Platinum which costs me 275 and the Natwest which is 195. So that's 475 per year or 40 per month. So I need to make a judgement call on whether I think it is worth 40 per month to use this facility. For me it is because I also use my Natwest Charge to buy houses and I get Air Miles points for it and it also comes with a 10,000 overdraft, the Amex I use for all my travel booking. Both of these come with other features which I use such as the travel insurance and purchase insurance.

Now the other option is to take the first type of Credit card and use it in the same way as a charge, set up the direct debit for the full amount each month. If you do this you effectively will be using the banks money for nothing. It feels so good to get something over the banks for once.

Now let's look at why I have two charge cards rather than one.

My statement date on the Natwest Charge is the 17th of the month and it is direct debited on the 6th of each month. The Amex is the 29th and the direct debit is the 10th of the month. So I use the Natwest between the 17th and the 28th and the Amex between the 29th and the 16th of the month. This means I am maximising my interest free days from each card.

Now on the whole this formula works fine but sometimes the Amex is not accepted so I then use the Natwest but I accept this as part of doing business.

Cashless society

I use my credit cards for every purchase imaginable, another feature about cards is that when you purchase something using your card, if say the Merchant doesn't provide you with the service or product you ordered then you can charge the amount back and then it is on the merchants back to prove they gave you the service. Try doing that with cash. They are a lot less likely to care about what you think about their service once you have paid cash. It is also a much safer way to shop online.

Spend your money twice.

Credit cards also allow you to spend you money twice, firstly if you buy something using the card (that's the first time) and then when you get your statement (that's the second time). So once the statement comes in it allows you to track all your expenditures but it also reminds you of those stupid purchases you make. This is a great thing if you are trying to develop better spending patterns.

Psychology of a charge card

I prefer using Charge cards because every time I make a purchase I must remember that I have to pay for it at the end of the cycle. No excuses I must come up with the cold hard cash. This means that discretionary spending becomes harder because I cannot just say I will pay it back next month. It creates a simple discipline that supports my lifestyle goals.

Floor Limit on your Spending

The only other thing I do is that I place a limit on what I think about. What I mean by this is that I don't think twice if the purchase is under 300. I can make as many purchases as I want up to 300. Anything above 300 I will sleep on before I buy. Now maybe you are not at 300, I actually used to do it back in Australia at $50. So this meant that things like food shopping and restaurants I didn't have to worry about. Obviously as your portfolio gets bigger and you can afford more you can raise the spending limit.

Now I still sometimes regret the purchases I make when I get the credit card statement for the purchases under 300 but I don't stress about the adverse affect it may have on my lifestyle goals.

Finally, I look at it this way, every wealthy person I know has a charge card so their must be something about the charge card that works for them. Likewise every financially struggling person I speak to has multiple credit cards, it must be something they are doing that doesn't work for them.

My New Favorite Group and Why - An Old Sixties 'Rocker' Reconsiders

The year was 1967 and my band was opening for the Kingsman (of Louie Louie fame). We knew all about Rock & Roll and could rip a rift from one end of a stadium to the other. The Stones were king as well as Mo-town, Eric Claptons blues, the Folk of Dylan and folk/rock of the Byrds. We had redefined musical taste in everything from concerts to commercials for the next millennium and it was fine with us,

Ever since those mortgages for people with bad credit days we Boomers have had the self-satisfaction of knowing that we have set the standards for rock and pop music for the foreseeable future.
After all, who could displace us? Certainly not the pallid, wimpy Disco groups of the late Seventies or the self-conscious, gimmicky wanna-be groups of the nineties. After all, we were no strike that are (well we still are, right?) the generation that invented Rock & Roll!
We are the generation that said Bleep-You to convention and the status quo. We changed everything from Lost Saucer to music to the way as Shakespeare would have put it the world wags on.

So Ive gotta admit in retrospect that I might have been a tad bit closed minded when one of my kids told me about a new break-out band that theyd heard in one of the rowdy bars that I used to play in when I was a musical young punk growing up in Boston back in the sixties.

They played a Apparition cuts off of a CD but Im ashamed to admit that for one of the pioneers of musical freedom four decades ago, I was sadly close-minded. I mean what could these twenty-something head-bangers have to offer the generation that invented the youth Sexual Vitality and put sex, drugs and Rock & Roll on the societal map.

Well guess what LOTS !

Yes we Baby Boomers gave the world a culture of new social mores and a musical heritage that will last a lot long than we will. I mean, hey, we gave society words and music that are used for everything from commercials to Websters dictionary. The feelings and once idealistic dreams of the sixties have not only become part of the lexicon of contemporary society, but in many cases the law itself!
In other words fellow Boomers, we (as Pogo would have said) have met the enemy and he is Us!

So it was with some surprise that I came to the realization this weekend at a wedding for one of my sweet nieces And many, many continued best wishes for happiness, Betsy! that the musical envelope is continuing to be pushed. And in more creative ways then we ever could have dreamed.

And that brings me to the point of my rant no, my observation ( Jeeze Ric about freakin time ! ) The world continues to have both interesting and innovative expressions of music and society whether we buy into it or not. You see the group that my kids thought Id like (and I would have if they hadnt suggested it first) is a fantastic Punk Rock, Folk/Irish group called the Drop Kick Murphys.

Now bear with me for a minute here. When I say punk-rock Im not talking about some pimply faced Goth types with more tattoos than Popeye the Sailor and at least as many piercing as a striped bass in a Sunday afternoon fishing contest.

No what make this group wicked awesome as we say around Boston home of Standels, of Dirty Water fame, is that they actually combine Folk, Irish traditional, hard rock, head banger, punk and whatever with a creative blend of traditional folk and hard driving contemporary Pop/Rock/Folk/Punk sound that makes them all at once children of the sixties folk/pop and at the same time a totally new mix of the gritty best of the new wave punk/rock rebel iconoclasts.

In fact if The Drop Kick Murphys had been around in the old days of the 60s vinyl R&R that I recorded on, I probably would have worn out at least two of their CDs this weekend!

But bottom line is that those of us who pioneered Do our own thing and - keep an open mind, should probably take a good long look in the mirror every once in a while to make sure that were still practicing what we preach.

I finally did - and my reward was a fantastic new group to my personal pop/rock list. Right up there with Dylan, Beatles and Stones.

So in the end this Old Dog put his musical parameters through their paces and learned another trick or two. I recommend it.

Before you can hire an Attorney they or their office personnel perform a conflict of interest check to see if anyone in the firm, in any shape or form, and at any time in the past has ever worked or had a relationship with the other party in which you are seeking to hire them to go against. This is all done to avoid a conflict of interest. When you hire this council it is only in your best interest that they perform their work. They cannot serve two masters at once and will not even attempt to take your work if there is even the slightest chance or appearance that there is a relationship or conflict.

This profession is responsible for making or changing the rules in this country. Lawyers cannot and will not pretend to represent the interests of two opposing sides at the same time. A "Double Agent" status is created when the Realtor who is working for a Seller and has their property listed for sale also directly finds a buyer for that same property. There is no other Agent involved in the transaction. Up until the point where the Agent finds a Buyer, the agent is considered a single agent and is supposedly working entirely in the best interest of their Seller. The National Association of Realtors and The Multiple Listing Service spend a lot of time and energy trying to cover their backsides by explaining this phenomenon in many ways and in many places but the bottom line is the same, no matter how hard they try to justify such poor ethics. On many of their forms they explain away this possible situation before it happens. Some forms require a signature from the Seller and declare in bold type that the form is not a contract! Well then why is a signature so necessary? This form may not be a contract but it sure is considered notice and the very Seller that they proclaim to protect has just signed a piece of paper that can and will be used against them at a later date by these same Realtors sworn to uphold their best interests.

In other clauses they explain it this way. "A dual agent shall be neutral with regard to any conflicting interest of the seller and buyer. Consequently, a dual agent cannot satisfy fully the duties of loyalty, full disclosure and obedience to lawful instructions which is required of an exclusive seller." In yet another clause Realtors caution "you have the responsibility to protect your own interests."

By breaking down their own language it seems to me that as a consequence of my agent becoming a "Double Agent" he or she cannot fully satisfy the duties for which they were hired. "A Seller has the responsibility to protect their own interests." Are they kidding? Realtors have the nerve to put this in print! One of the main reasons why a Seller would hire them in the first place is to help protect these very interests but now a Seller is to be left on their own, without professional guidance, because an Agent wants to work both sides and be better paid as a result.

Let me tell you that at this point they are not longer acting as a "Double Agent" but rather they are now working as a "Triple Agent." That's right, now there are three interests at work here in this confusing dynamic. The third interest is that of the Realtors and I believe the interest that is the most important to the Realtor because it directly effects the Realtors income. When a Realtor both lists and sells a property thereby becoming a "Double Agent" they double their income and this is actually what dual agency is all about.

Think this one through, the Agent now serves in a much diminished capacity for the Seller but DOUBLES his or her income by doing so. The Seller now pays more and receives less. In who's best interest are Realtors working for?

I would expect any professional that I hire and pay, be it a dentist, doctor or rubbish hauler to work in my best interest. It is simply not acceptable that my Realtor gets to jump ship and work for both sides just because they have given themselves this weird ability to circumvent the law and Double their income by doing so.

If you currently have your property listed for sale with a Realtor or are considering placing a property on the market using an Agent, it is entirely within your power to say no to dual agency. Why should you sacrifice the much deserved and well paid for representation for the sake of someone else's greed?

How To Create A Cartoon Design Of Your Own

Have you ever wanted to create a cartoon design of your own? I'm a fabric artist so I frequently come up with my own designs with no particular source of inspiration.

First, let's clarify the word cartoon. I'm not referring to drawing cartoon characters although the word is the same word. My use of the word cartoon is more in the sense of a pattern drawn on a large piece of paper (usually 18" x 24").

There are many ways to practice turning on the creative juices. It always starts with a blank piece of paper. Now instead of deciding to draw anything in particular, I just pick up a pencil Miss Marple pen, place the pencil on the paper somewhere and let the flow begin.

One technique is to draw a rectangle somewhere in the middle of the paper. Now you have certain defined spaces to fill with straight lines, curvy lines, groups of lines, shapes, repetition of shapes or free flow.

The center space can be filled with circles of various sizes, a simple leaf design or triangular shapes. Shapes can be repeated in various ways by changing the sizes of the shapes. The outside space around the edge of the paper can also be filled with similar shapes or just drawn curvy lines or straight lines.

At this point, I don't think about placement or an actual design, just let the process of drawing take place.

After you have created some shapes and lines, begin using colored pencils or crayons to fill in these spaces. Use three colors to start with, use three colors that you really like. Then add variations of these colors, lighter and darker, softer and brighter. You would be surprised what can happen in this process.

These images that you're creating are mostly abstracts but if you really like flowers and leaves, draw flowers and leaves. Just do very simple drawings with simple color schemes.

As you practice the above techniques, it will be easier and easier to draw designs starting on an empty page. The page is your canvas, it's there to serve you, so let things happen. If you love the color purple, use only shades of purple, then add a little black here and there, with some soft greys.

Once you get comfortable with the process of creating Moremoremore begin to look at the overall balance of the various elements you have created. Could they be smaller, larger? Could they be platinum visa credit card in a different area of the paper and have a greater visual impact? Could you add a bright lime-yellow to make the other colors pop?

Another technique is to take an abstract drawing you've created, cut the paper in strips or any kind of pieces you want, then re-assemble the drawing in a new way. Look at the overall effect. Do you want the shapes to pop? Do you want the colors to be more dominant? Does your design have energy and flow to it? What do you want to convey with your drawing?

Practice the above process as often as you can. I try to draw something on a daily basis and a lot of times I do this late at night before going to bed or early in the morning before my busy day begins. Find a slot of time for your creative juices to begin blossoming. I really believe that becoming creative (in whatever medium you choose) requires practice, practice, practice. Before the wedding begins Blair and Dan scheme to expose Georgina and her lies to her parents, when they all meet in the park Do You Wanna by The Kooks plays along as Georgina learns about her future home. Beautiful World by Carolina Liar plays in the background as Serena desperately tries to get in contact with Dan and then leaves a message that she is coming over. This same song is played again at Lily and Bart's wedding as well as a lot of classical selection and other songs that add to the festive mood.

As family and friends are arriving for the wedding and the place is buzzing with pre wedding preparations, Time To Pretend by MGMT drives the action. After a classical piece, Bridal Chorus by Wagner begins to play. This necessary song is followed by two more classical pieces that play through the wedding reception and then through Blair and Vanessa's conversation about Nate.

The final song of the episode was the very appropriate, The Ice is Getting Thinner by Death Cab For Cutie. Yes, Dr Seuss was a real person though his name was Theodor Seuss Geisel and he was called Ted. He wrote over 40 children's books and all of them remain popular to this day because he Gourmet Chocolates reading such fun. His success is attributed to his controlled use of vocabulary, simple text, humour, repetition, rhyme, his choice of words, imaginative illustrations and original characters. The books teach the skills that young readers need and inspire them to continue their reading journey.

Theodor Geisel first wrote under the name Seuss when he was a purchasing structured settlement at Dartmouth College. A party thrown by Ted and his friends resulted in Ted being asked to give up all his extra-curricular activities. He was editor-in-Chief of the College's humour magazine at the time, so to continue to contribute to the Jack-o-Lantern without the administration's knowledge, he began signing his work with the pen-name Seuss (which was his mother's maiden name as well as his middle name).

After Dartmouth, Ted went to Oxford and it was during one of his classes there that his doodling caught the eye of a fellow American student named Helen Palmer and she suggested that he should become an artist instead of a professor. He found that he liked her advice and began to work as a cartoonist. (He liked more than her advise because they later married!)

Ted worked in consolidating student loans for 15 years but was a regular contributor to humour magazines, writing under the name Dr Seuss. With the arrival of World War II, Ted sought a commission with naval intelligence where he made animated movies relevant to the war effort.

In the latter years of the war, he began writing children's stories, beginning with "And to Think That I Saw it on Mulberry Street".

His turning point came when he was asked to write a children's primer using 220 new-reader vocabulary words. While schools were reluctant to adopt "The Cat in the Hat" as an official primer, children and adults showed no such restraint and clamoured for copies.

The success of "The Cat in the Hat" elevated Dr Seuss from a pioneer in the field of writing and illustrating children's books to a respected authority, a position he has held ever since. His American Bandstand "Green Eggs and Ham" came about when his publisher, Bennet Cerf wagered that he couldn't write a book using 50 words or less! Cerf had the vision to see that Ted was going to turn the children's book world upside down and he created Beginner Books. His relationship with Dr Seuss as publisher and close friend lasted many years.

Ted, or Dr Seuss as we think of him, enjoyed writing entertaining books that encouraged children to read. However he was also concerned with moral and environmental issues and his book "The James Bond Thunderball has the theme of someone building a profitable business for themselves at the expense of a natural resource and those who depended on it for their survival.

Ted loved funny hats. He would wear them when he had writer's block and often also at dinner parties at his home. If guests didn't arrive wearing one, they were loaned one from Ted's collection!

Dr Seuss received many honours for his work, not least a Laura Ingalls Wilder Award, given to an author or illustrator whose books have made a substantial contribution to and lasting impact on children's literature.

Over the course of his long career, Ted Geisel wrote over 40 books, mostly under the name Dr Seuss, but over a dozen as Theo. LeSieg and one as Rosetta Stone. Nearly 30 of his Dr Seuss books have been adapted for television or video.

At the time of his death in September 1991, 200 million copies of his books, translated into 15 different languages had been sold and sales continue to climb as children (and adults) the world over discover and re-discover his delightful tales and at the same time learn important lessons in tolerance because, despite their differences, all of his characters are portrayed as being just as important as any other, as he says "A person's a person, no matter how small" (from Horton Hears a Who).

With all the time and money spent on designing products that are user friendly, why is it that tried and true features that have worked perfectly well for decades are being replaced with ones that dont? Wing windows in cars (sorry if youre too young to know what Im talking about) were great. You could angle those little triangles to direct the flow of air where you wished. Better yet, you knew that if your pooch stuck her nose out that little space, there was absolutely no danger of her falling out. Im told that the electric window (yes, children we used to have to crank them open and closed) caused the demise of the wing window but I dont believe it. Surely they dont have to be mutually exclusive.

Lest you think Im an old fuddy duddy, let me assure you Im donate a used car I love the latest gadgets if they serve a purpose. And Im so into computers that I even own (and occasionally wear) a heather gray tee shirt that says in powder blue. And speaking of computers here is another example of replacing what works with what doesnt. All my old laptop computers all had a wonderful thumb wheel switch to control the audio intensity (or as they erroneously injury compensation claim the volume). I assisted in teaching introductory courses at Pepperdine University, and have taught high schoolers down to preschoolers.

The biggest obstacle to overcome in ALL of these scenarios, was the belief that the task couldn't be done.

Sometimes this self sabotage is referred to as the inelegant "stinkin' thinkin'".

Stinkin' Thinkin' Sets in in the First Few Years of Life

This lack of self confidence frequently sets in at an early age. A huge percentage of our psychological personality is formed in the preschool years. How we learn to view successes and failures as youngsters can have a profound effect on how we deal with challenges later in life.

When in a preschool classroom, I would frequently make a deliberate mistake, spill my juice for example. Then I would exclaim, "Oh look what I did! I spilled the juice! Oh well, I can't learn if I'm not willing to make mistakes!" Then I would calmly clean my mess and move on.

If you are parenting a young child, this kind of lesson is critical to their future success. They must internalize the concept that wrong answers are merely stepping stones to right ones. The fear of being wrong, or looking foolish, can be overcome when the child understands that the act of taking the action is what's important. Give your child this gift of understanding on a daily basis.

Famous successful entrepreneurs will say things like "you fail forward," in other words, failing is merely a step to success. This belief system is what allows them to move beyond disappointments.

Your Mindset Influences How Others See You

When I was in seventh grade, I attended the Westlake School for Girls. I had to take several placement exams to be accepted into the school. Due to some kind of clerical error, even though I had tested out as "gifted" on all of the tests, I was placed on the "C" track, which was for children who were what was then described as "slow."

As I sat, day after day staring at the same page in my French book, my mind would wander. The teacher would ask a question and I would have no clue as to what she had been talking about. She would impatiently tell me to try to stay focused and I felt dumber and dumber. I can remember thinking to myself, "I used to be smart. I wonder what happened." At the first grading period came to a close, I was failing every one of my classes.

My parents came in and met with each of my teachers one by one. The first one up was my French teacher. She gently tried to explain to my parents that some children simply do not have the capacity to learn another language as evidenced by my inability to concentrate in class. My father asked if she had ever spoken to me in French and she replied that the class was no where near ready to attempt actual conversational French.

"Ask her a question in French," my father prodded. So the teacher reluctantly asked me what I had done the night before. I still remember her facial expression as I rattled on about the television show I had seen and how my roommate at school had gotten into trouble for not doing her laundry. You see, I was fluent in French. But the teacher never knew that because she believed I was incapable of learning a language. And despite my fluency in French and Italian, I came to see myself as incapable as well!

This is the power of our minds. We will live out the experience we envision for ourselves. Just as I was convinced in a very short period of time that I had somehow lost my learning abilities, things can be turned the other way as well. Lead a learner of any age to believing in their own ability to achieve, and achieve they will! Encourage creative thinking, seeing failure as part of the adventure on the way to success and you will have possibly fostered the mindset of a future successful entrepreneur!

Because for the average Joe without a lot of resources, who else is he going to talk to about his new business other than people he knows, right? WRONG! When all this started 60-or-so years ago we didn't have the internet and cell phones, conference calls and phone-messaging, so person-to-person was in fact the only way people could spread the word-about most anything. All of that has changed now and there are myriad ways to approach your market-be it warm, cold, or inbetween-so this "list" idea is just way pass. And scary as hell for most people. (Most people are not born salesmen, in case you haven't noticed.)

But the whole time, in the back of your mind, this niggling worry-wort called network marketing is knocking on the inside of your skull telling you to get with the program and tell Leona why you really called her-to tell her about your new business and persuade her to join it with you. So you're only able to listen half-mast, and you're nervous about what will happen next.

Because they already have preconceived notions about you, your values, your strengths and weaknesses, your potential for success, etc. They simply do not look at you as the person who is going to bring great wealth into their life and are horrified when you try to Springheel Jack the wool over their eyes by getting them into a corner and trying to talk you into doing something they don't want to do.

Nothing will quell your new-found enthusiasm for your business faster than the negative opinions of your family or friends. And nothing will spark their interest in it like your independent success, achieved all on your own, without their support or participation. The Big Apple - Beyond Business As Usual

You see, I'm a professional shaman who lives within driving distance of Manhattan. However, unlike other healers and the many others who personally went into 'ground zero' to offer their services, I didn't go. Now that some time has passed, and re-construction is in it's early phase.....this article is my small contribution the the healing process.

Emulsifying wax is the basic component for most body lotions and skin creams. It is basically what keeps the lotions oil and water from separating in the bottle or jar. A Television Set The Size Of A Big Picture

My wife has remodeled our bedroom. She also wants to add a new bigger chest donate cars to charity drawers and a fancy big dresser.
